Lip Balms

Many commercial lip balms contain petroleum and mineral oils that can actually cause dry, cracked lips. Natural alternatives are available but can feel waxy and thick. This lip balm contains six skin moisturizers that can help heal and prevent chapped lips. No fillers, no mineral oil, no petroleum byproducts. It goes on silky smooth without stickiness and lasts for hours.

  • Castor Oil: Can help heal dry cracked lips and can prevent further chapping.
  • Olive Oil: Conditions lips and can help prevent drying
  • Beeswax: Naturally anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and an antioxidant
  • Carnauba Wax: A soft and glossy wax that helps seal in moisture
  • Candelilla Wax: High in fatty acids and quickly absorbs into the lip surface
  • Soybean Oil: Locks in moisture

The unflavored lip balm is 100% natural. Flavored and slightly tinted balms are also available and contain 98% natural ingredients. Tinted balms will not color the lips. Additives include:

  • Flavor Oil: Synthetic lip-safe flavor oils specifically formulated for use in lip balms. They are NOT flavor oils commonly used in baking which are not approved for skin contact. Gluten Free.
  • Mica: FDA lip-use approved cosmetic colorant added to lightly tint lip balms (will not leave color on the lips). Mica's contain the following ingredients:
    • Hydrogenated Polyisobutene: synthetic ingredient used as a skin-softening agent
    • Palmitic acid: a naturally occurring fatty acid from palm trees
    • Phenoxyethanol: synthetic preservative similar to the natural counterpart found in green tea
    • Benzoic Acid: natural preservative derived from fruit
